To celebrate the launch of a new series of the popular E4 show ‘Skins’ a series of parties were held in Bristol at the start of 2010. Metropolis were assigned to organise the security arrangements for all the parties and had to liaise with a number of organisers including the venue operators (Artspace/Lifespace), DXMedia, and Channel 4. There were 12 parties over a 2 week period and approximately 12,000 members of the public attended.

Melksham Party In the Park is an annual event for the local community and surrounding areas. Run by a team of volunteers it was originally meant to be a one-off event to celebrate the Millenium but was so successful that it has been held every year since.

Metropolis Security was commissioned to provide static guarding support to BuildFifty5 and MCD Ltd at the Quaker’s Friars site at Cabot Circus in Bristol. The brief was to provide security guards to secure site, control access and egress, and minimise theft of tools and materials.
